Probably one of the most classic Tanzanian safari combination. It takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most strategically located wildlife areas, consisting of a shallow but huge soda lake, at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. Then tour Serengeti National Park, into the heart of wild Africa, a massive wilderness where eve ryday brings a new landscape and a new adventure. Finally explore the Ngorongoro Crater, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game in Africa. Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of African wildlife – inside a self-contained world teeming with animals.

During this part of the journey, there will be an opportunity to savor a packed lunch, and the route proceeds in a northwest direction through the Naabi Hill Gate and into the expansive Serengeti National Park. Named “endless plains” in the Maasai language, the Serengeti spans an extensive 14,763 square kilometers and stands as one of Africa’s largest and most renowned wilderness areas. You will spend the subsequent two nights at a comfortable safari lodge or tented camp situated in the south-central region of the park, known as the Seronera Valley. Enjoy your breakfast then we will go ahead with both morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park. Remember this is the migration safari, so as Serengeti is very large as your game drives will depend on the move of the migrants, your guide knows very well how to locate the herds. The Serengeti National Park is famous for the ‘Great Migration’, over one million wildebeest and two hundred thousand plus zebras each year follow the rains. In October and November, they travel from the mountains of the north, southwards to the plains seeking lush pastures. After the great rainy season in April, May, and June the herds then make their return ward journey. Even without this mass migration, the Serengeti is still an exciting and spectacular place that still cannot fail to enthrall.
The 3rd day of African Safari includes:

This morning we wake up very early at 6am for another Serengeti game drive and perhaps see the small predators like jackal, hyena and bat-eared fox out and about as dawn breaks. At around 9am we return to your camp/lodge for breakfast and then drive out of the Serengeti and back into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
This highland region of plains, woodlands and forests protects the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is 19.2-km in diameter, 610-metres deep and covers an area of 304-sq-km and was formed when a volcano erupted and collapsed on itself approximately two and a half million years ago. The well-fertilised volcanic soils create rich grazing for the animals and it is often referred to as ‘the Garden of Eden’. On the way, and for an extra fee, you can stop at the museum at Olduvai Gorge to learn about the archaeological excavations that escalated the studies of early man.
From the crater rim, you may catch a glimpse of a magnificent sunset before heading to our camp/lodge.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Drinks: Drinking Water, other drinks are extra.
After an early morning meal, we will complete our check-out procedures and begin our descent to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for an exploratory tour. A picnic lunch will be provided in the crater, right beside the hippo pool, where you can have a break, take a stroll, and access restroom facilities.
The Ngorongoro Crater holds the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage Site status and is a crucial component of an international biosphere reserve. Covering an area of approximately 300 square kilometers and spanning about 19 kilometers in width, the crater floor lies 600 meters below the rim. It teems with a diverse array of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, elephants, and numerous antelope species.
In the late afternoon, we will ascend from the crater and make our way to Arusha. You will then be dropped off at your chosen hotel or the airport to catch your onward flight bringing to an end what we hope is a safari of your lifetime.
