Welcome to Kenya! After arriving at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, the driver/tour guide will transport you to your hotel in Nairobi. Today we will have a late start. At 10:15am our driver will come to meet you at your Hotel and head out towards to edge of the city and visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. Here you’ll see no elephant riding or performance; for just one hour each day the baby elephants being gently rehabilitated are able to be watched as they feed and play in the place that they call home. There’s even a wonderful opportunity to adopt one of the elephants that you see on the day.
After that we will visit giraffe Centre which neighbors the famous Giraffe Manor. The sanctuary is offered to the extremely endangered Rothschild giraffe, with rescue and breeding efforts for this magnificent beast being led by the organization. Here you’ll also have an opportunity to feed them as your maiden photos.
At 12 noon you’ll have your lunch then we visit the Kazuri Bead Centre, learning about the processes to create ceramic beads and local pottery by socially excluded women. Spend a full day living the dream of every wildlife enthusiast as you embark on safaris across the wondrous Serengeti. You’ll enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives to witness the wildlife in one of the oldest ecosystems on earth. Besides being a great place to spot Big Five animals, the Serengeti hosts the annual Great Migration. From June to November, this “greatest wildlife show on earth” sees more than a million wildebeest, plus hundreds of thousands of zebras and Thomson’s gazelles, undertake the long trek to new grazing grounds.
You’ll start early, as mornings are the best time to see the animals at their most active. After a dawn game drive on the Serengeti, you’ll return to camp for breakfast. Then you and your guide will travel to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This region comprises the world’s largest volcanic caldera, measuring 1,968 feet (600 m) in depth and covering 100 sq miles (260 sq km). Like the Serengeti, it’s also home to an abundance of exotic animals and plains game due to its fertile grazing grounds.
On the way, and for an extra fee, you can stop at the museum at Olduvai Gorge to learn about the archaeological excavations that escalated the studies of early man.
Once in Ngorongoro, there will be ample opportunities for wildlife viewing. This area, which is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, is home to over 20,000 large animals. This includes buffaloes, elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, hyenas, jackals, ostriches, warthogs, and vast herds of gazelles. Also, thanks to anti-poaching patrols, the crater is one of the few places in East Africa where visitors are sure to see black rhinos.

Good morning, it is 09:00am and on this day you will start by visiting Tropical Spice Farm which offers fun and adventure in an award-winning lush, tropical farm setting and be enthralled by more than 500 tropical medicinal plants and spices. Follow a guide through rural plantations and see where local staples such as clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon are cultivated, grown and used to produce some of Zanzibar’s most aromatic cuisine.

This is one of our most recommended activities in Zanzibar, where you can swim and snorkel at three different spots (Dolphins, relaxing at the Sandbanks, and Snorkeling at the Mnemba reef. You’ll begin to move across the East Africa Rift Valley, to arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch. The afternoon gives you the option of a boat ride on the lake to spot some of the smaller, yet no less stunning, fauna.
This trip to Crescent Island will be filled with herbivores. You can see zebras, hippos, giraffes, and a stunning array of birds that make this lake their home. Upon returning to your accommodation, you’ll be served dinner before bedding down alongside this lake.
