After picking you up from either your hotel or the airport, we will head south through Kenya, embarking on a leisurely journey towards the remarkable Amboseli. This park is a sanctuary for incredible wildlife and boasts the awe-inspiring presence of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Upon your arrival in Amboseli, you will immediately have the chance to begin spotting the magnificent animals you’ve come to witness. This brief game drive will transport you to your accommodation within the park.

Upon reaching your camp or lodge, a hearty lunch will be served, allowing you time to settle into your new surroundings. The afternoon will be dedicated to your inaugural full-fledged game drive, providing you with the opportunity to marvel at Mount Kilimanjaro in all its glory. While the snow-capped peak dominates the skyline, rest assured that the park is teeming with a diverse array of wildlife, including the renowned trio of African safari giants: buffalo, lions, and elephants, in addition to countless other fascinating species. Amboseli National Park – Lake Nakuru National Park

  • 350 km – 5 to 6 hours

Breakfast starts the day, and you will have chance to say farewell to the beasts of the Amboseli on a morning game drive. A drive through the Great African Rift Valley, with vistas to melt your heart, awaits you on your way to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch. Relax for a while and later you will have your first afternoon game drive in this famous park.

Lake Nakuru’s claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo’s and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the, at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.
Safaris sometimes can be a bit tiring! Upon returning to your accommodation in the evening you’ll be served dinner and will have more time to relax before bedding down inside this nature park.

Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara National Reserve

  • 220 km – 4 to 5 hours

Progress on from Lake Nakuru after breakfast, you will continue driving through the great African Rift Valley to arrive at the Masai Mara. The landscapes along the way range from panoramic to sublime; be ready to drink the scenery in the heart of Kenya.

You will arrive at Masai Mara and immediately be immersed in the undulating landscape, filled with high concentrations of animals. Your small game drive will take you to your accommodation for lunch and then you will take an extensive afternoon exploration of the Masai Mara.

If you’re lucky enough to visit during the migrations, between July and October, you will be rewarded with the spectacle of herds of beasts traversing these rolling plains. However, No matter the time of year, the Masai Mara will never be short of what you expected on your African Safari.

Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara landscape is dominated by the acacia trees mixed with long grass and volcanic boulders that punctuate the landscape. You will head out after breakfast at your accommodation, with your African safari guide on hand to help you track, spot, and identify all the animals you see.

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place (July to October). This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

Lunch will be served picnic style, so as to ensure you get as much of the day within the parks as possible. You will return to your accommodation for dinner and rest before the next day of your African safari.

Tortilis Camp draws its name from the distinctive Acacia Tortilis, the flat-topped, umbrella thorn tree, and is gracefully perched on a hill within one of Amboseli’s Acacia Tortilis woodland areas. Amboseli National Park – Lake Nakuru National Park

Breakfast starts the day, and you will have chance to say farewell to the beasts of the Amboseli on a morning game drive. A drive through the Great African Rift Valley, with vistas to melt your heart, awaits you on your way to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch. Relax for a while and later you will have your first afternoon game drive in this famous park.

Lake Nakuru’s claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo’s and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the, at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.
Safaris sometimes can be a bit tiring! Upon returning to your accommodation in the evening you’ll be served dinner and will have more time to relax before bedding down inside this nature park.

Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara National Reserve

Progress on from Lake Nakuru after breakfast, you will continue driving through the great African Rift Valley to arrive at the Masai Mara. The landscapes along the way range from panoramic to sublime; be ready to drink the scenery in the heart of Kenya.

You will arrive at Masai Mara and immediately be immersed in the undulating landscape, filled with high concentrations of animals. Your small game drive will take you to your accommodation for lunch and then you will take an extensive afternoon exploration of the Masai Mara.

If you’re lucky enough to visit during the migrations, between July and October, you will be rewarded with the spectacle of herds of beasts traversing these rolling plains. However, No matter the time of year, the Masai Mara will never be short of what you expected on your African Safari.
